Taqbel li jista’ jilghab aktar minn barrani wiehed fil-First Division?

Hemm regola li team tal-First Division jista’ jkollu sa tlett barranin, basta jkunu kollha mill-Unjoni Ewropeja. F’kaz li jkollok barrani mhux mill-Ewropa, bhall m’huwa il-kaz tas-Saints li ghandom player Nigerjan, ma jistghux igibu barrani iehor. Izda team li ghad m’ghandux barrani jew ghandu barrani mill-Ewropa, jistghu jirregistraw zewg barrani ohra maghhom. Taqbel ma din ir-regola? Ghidu taghkom.

  1. Dazgur li ma naqbilx.. jekk se jaghmlu hekk se tintilef it-tradizzjoni tal-First li jkollok barrani wiehed u it-tfal li jitilu min-nursery se tkun aktar difficli ghalihom biex jilghabu u jiehdu ic-cans taghhom

  2. Nixtieq nagheml klarifika. Qieghed ingieb xi jghid ir-regolament.

Article 44(e) of the ‘Regulations Regarding Players Registered with Member Clubs’, the first division clubs can register one or more foreign players from an EU Country. However if they have registered with them one or more foreign players from an EU Country, they cannot have registered with them foreign players from Non-EU countries. On the other hand those clubs who have registered a foreign player coming from a Non-EU country, cannot register other foreign players neither from an EU country nor from a Non-EU country. When it comes to a competitive match and according to Article 9(b) of the ‘Competition Rules’, clubs from the Premier and the First Division can field up to at least 8 players which are local home grown and a maximum of 3 players which are not local home grown.
